Interested in that Samsung SCH-i405 slider for Verizon that we got another peek at last night? If so, you'll be glad to hear that a few more details on the device have emerged courtesy of a source speaking to Android Central. According to the tipster, the i405's packing a 1GHz processor of the single-core variety, a 480x800 resolution display, 512MB RAM, and an 1800mAh battery. Those are in addition to the specs we already knew of, which include a five-row QWERTY, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 2.3.4.
Judging by the specs along, the i405 certainly sounds like it'll help to fill out Verizon's mid-range Android lineup, just like we suspected when we got our first look at it last month. That doesn't mean that it's going to be a bad handset by any means, though, as inclusion of a big battery, Gingerbread, and LTE add up to make a pretty nice little smartphone. Plus, if you ask us, there are never enough QWERTY phones on the market. We're still waiting for the deets on other important aspects of the i405, including its release and and its actual name, but I'm sure this won't be the last time we see the QWERTY-fied device leak. Stay tuned!
