The BlackBerry Torch 2 9810 may not be official just yet (despite the fact that its been handled more times than we care to count), but today RIM's next slider got one step closer to landing on AT&T's shelves. As you probably could've gathered by the image up above, the Torch 2 recently made its way through the FCC complete with 850 and 1900 GSM bands and WCDMA bands II and V, meaning its ready to bang out emails and do other business-y things on AT&T's network.
As usual, an appearance in the FCC doesn't necessarily indicate that a launch is on the horizon. It is a necessary step to take in any device's life, though, and we're glad to see RIM check another item off the Torch 2's pre-release process. Anyone planning on whetting your 'Berry appetite with a Torch 2 when it makes its grand debut on AT&T?
