If you've been lusting after the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY but would prefer the device with a touch more AT&T flavor, your prayers have been answered. Today it was revealed that the Xperia PLAY will be coming to AT&T later this year with HSPA+ connectivity, a "stealth blue" color scheme, and Dungeon Defenders 2 and NOVA 2 preloaded. Outside of that, the AT&T model is said to be exactly the same as the version that's currently available on Verizon. There's no word yet on exactly when the Play will be available or how much the price of admission will be.
Considering that the Xperia PLAY was made official in February and hit Verizon in May, it won't exactly be the freshest Android handset around by the time that AT&T finally gets around to releasing it. That said, we're still glad to see the PlayStation Phone make its way to another U.S. carrier, and I'm sure there are at least some ATT customers that feel the same way. We'll let you know more about Ma Bell's version of the Xperia PLAY when we do.
