As I'm sure many of you Nexus S 4G owners noticed, the Google Wallet-readying GRJ90 update didn't arrive yesterday like it was supposed to. If you were left pulling a DeAndre Cole and asking "What up with that?" well, we've got an answer for you. According to a screenshot leaked to Android Central, the Nexus S 4G's update has been delayed due to reasons unknown. There's no word on a new ETA for the GRJ90 update.
The Nexus S 4G isn't the only Sprint device whose having update issues, as the Samsung Transform was slated to begin getting an update with the build number EF09, but it's reportedly been failing. As a result, the update's been yanked for the time being to allow Samsung to investigate the problem.
It's kind of a bummer that the Nexus S 4G's update has been pushed back, especially since it's rumored to bump the device up to Android 2.3.5 and prepare the NS4G's NFC secure element for Google Wallet use. I'm sure that both Sprint and Samsung would like to get GRJ90 rolled out to Nexus S 4G users as soon as possible, though, so I wouldn't be it surprised to land in the near future. We'll let you know more when we do!
