There's been a steady stream of reports over the past couple of months claiming that the iPhone 5 will be arriving this September, and today we've got another to add to the mix. According to Ticonderoga Securities analyst Brian White, a China Mobile employee recently claimed on Weibo.com (a Twitter-like micro-blogging service) that the Chinese carrier will be launching the new iPhone in September. The worker's post has since been deleted.
Although we'll probably never know exactly why Apple decided not to launch the iPhone 5 in June or July like previous models, it's looking increasingly likely that the Cupertino firm will be releasing its new handset in September this year. What we still aren't sure about is what the device will look like. The majority of reports claim that Apple will stick with the iPhone 4 look and feel for another generation, but some others have guessed that an all-new design is in the works. Sadly, I'm not sure we'll figure out who's right until Apple is good and ready to show us the new phone. The waiting game continues!
