Another day, another iPhone 5 rumor. Today's report comes from Bloomberg, which cites "two people familiar with the plans" who claim that the iPhone 5 will be coming in September. The sources believe that the next gen iPhone will "closely resemble" the iPhone 4 and will include the same A5 processor present in the iPad 2 as well as an 8-megapixel camera. All in all, pretty similar to many other rumors that have popped up over the past couple of months.
Bloomberg's tipsters go on to allege that Apple is currently working a new version of the iPad with screen resolution one-third higher than that of the iPad 2 as well as a cheaper version of the iPhone aimed at developing countries. The sources say that this lower-end iPhone could use components similar to those found in the current iPhone 4.
Today's iPhone 5 rumor is almost entirely the opposite of the one we heard yesterday that claimed that the device will be arriving in August with a "radical new case design." So which is right? Well, I'd be surprised to see Apple roll out the new iPhone in August, especially since Apple has already said that iOS 5 is coming this fall. The case design of the iPhone 5 is a little harder to pin down right now, but the majority of rumors so far have claimed that a device similar to the iPhone 4 is more likely. Which rumor do you all believe more: all-new iPhone 5 in August or iPhone 4-like device in September?
