Cricket Wireless already has a handful of Android phones in its lineup, including the Huawei Ascend and Samsung Indulge, but today it's been revealed that the carrier will be adding a slightly more high-end Android to its roster later this year. According to a report from PCMag, the handset you're looking at above is the Huawei Glory (M886). Arriving this November, the Glory includes a 4-inch, 854x480 display, 1.4-GHz Qualcomm MSM8655T processor, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, 2GB of memory, memory card slot, 1900mAh battery, and a lightly-customized build of Android 2.3.3 with an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich planned for 2012. So how much can we expect to pay for a 1.4GHz Android phone with Gingerbread? Cricket and Huawei are aiming for a sub-$300 price point which, like all of Cricket's other handsets, will be sans any kind of contract.

There's no question that the Glory's got some high-end specs, and I'm sure it'll be a welcome addition to Cricket's Android lineup that's made up of mostly mid-range devices. The downside, of course, is that the device won't actually be arriving until November. The Glory's feature set may not seem quite as hot five months from now thanks to Android's Law, but it should still be an attractive little device considering that it'll cost less than three Benjamins.
