Sprint's Samsung SPH-D600 has been the subject of a few leaks in the past, with the most recent coming in the form of a pair of photos that appeared at the tail end of last month. All that time, though, we never had an actual name to put with the device. That changes today, as the folks at Pocketnow have been told that the SPH-D600 will come to market at the Samsung Conquer 4G. That name also (partially) appears in the Sprint inventory sheet that leaked last night, which also shows that the Conquer 4G is still slated to launch on July 24th.
With its 320x480 display, WiMAX connectivity, and physical QWERTY keyboard, the Conquer 4G is being described as a low-end version of the Epic 4G. The good news is that the Conquer is expected to pack Android 2.3 out of the box, which should help it stand out a bit and make its lower-end specs a tad easier to swallow. Anyone considering jumping on the Conquer 4G when it arrives?
