Last month, the HTC ThunderBolt got a software update that brought several bug fixes and enhancements to Verizon's first 4G LTE handset. Unfortunately, the update also began subjecting some TBolt owners to random device reboots. The good news is that, according to a memo leaked to Android Central, Verizon and HTC are prepping another update to address the issue, although we'll have to wait until the second half of June before said update actually begins rolling out. If your TBolt is rebooting like crazy and you just don't think you can make it another couple of weeks, though, the same memo claims that Verizon will hand you a CLNR (Certified Like-New Replacement) to soothe your pain.
Obviously it can be pretty tough to use a phone when it randomly resets itself, so it's good to see that Verizon and HTC has an update for ThunderBolt owners in the works. It's kind of a bummer that it won't be coming until later this month, but hey, at least we know it's coming. How many of you TBolt-ers out there are experiencing random reboots?
