If you've been itching for a new QWERTY-packin' Android phone on T-Mobile, then we've got some good news for you. The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide, aka HTC Doubleshot, just passed through the FCC under the moniker "HTC PG59100" with a sliding QWERTY keyboard as well as support for T-Mobile's AWS network. As a quick refresher, the myTouch 4G Slide's rumored spec list includes a 3.7-inch 480x800 display, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 768MB RAM, 8-megapixel camera, front-facing VGA shooter, and 14.4Mbps HSDPA connectivity. There's also a possibility that the device will feature 1080P 3D video capture as well as 3D video playback, but that spec is still up in the air at this point.
So, when exactly can we expect the myTouch 4G Slide to drop? Obviously there aren't any official launch details yet, but a recently-leaked T-Mobile device roadmap indicated that July 6th could be the MT4GS's big day. How many of you are looking forward to the myTouch 4G Slide? Would the inclusion of 3D recording/playback sway you one way or the other when it comes time to purchase it?
