We've seen the BlackBerry Monaco 9580/Monza 9560/Touch/Storm 3 leak quite a bit over the past several months, but one thing that still hasn't been revealed about the device is exactly what it'll be called when it comes to market. However, that tidbit of information may have just been revealed by the folks over at N4BB. According to "multiple sources" speaking with the site, the Monaco/Monza could be known as the "Volt." The name isn't set in stone just yet, though, as N4BB reports that RIM may simply brand it as a Torch device instead.
It's not surprising that RIM will likely not be using the "Storm" moniker on the 9850/9860 since it doesn't use the same SurePress touchscreen tech as the first two Storm devices. Using Torch brand on this device might seem kind of strange since it's a full touch handset and not a slider like the Torch 9800, but perhaps RIM would rather go that route rather than create an entire new brand of BlackBerry. Which name do you think would be a better fit for the 9850/9860? Volt or Torch?
