Over the weekend, Verizon's HTC Trophy appeared in a set of press images and made us put a little more stock in the device's rumored May 12th launch date. Now that rumor has gained even more traction, as images of a dummy Trophy at Best Buy were just posted by the folks at Phone Arena. Unfortunately, there's no pricing info to be found in the photo.
As usual, I wouldn't go taking the 12th off of work or anything just yet, as release dates can and often do change. That said, the evidence supporting the claims that the Trophy will be launching this Thursday is getting pretty tough to ignore. If Big Red is indeed planning to launch its first Windows Phone 7 handset in two days, we should be hearing more today or tomorrow, so stay tuned!
