Last year T-Mobile had one heck of a Father's Day promotion, offering its entire lineup of handsets for absolutely free on-contract. Now that Mother's Day is near, folks have been wondering what, if anything, Magenta is planning to do to celebrate. Our friends at TmoNews have been handed a photo showing that some stores may be offering a $100 credit per line this weekend for anyone signing up for a two-year contract with a qualifying plan. The credit will apply to new individual lines as well as family plans, although only the first two lines of a family plan will qualify for the bonus.
Before you get too excited, we should note that some of the details of the promotion, like which stores will be taking part in it, aren't clear just yet. When we find out more we'll be sure to let you know. In the mean time, though, any of you that may have been planning to sign up for a new T-Mobile contract may want to consider giving your local store a call to see if they can hook you up with a $100 credit.
