A few short days ago, we speculated that the HP Veer's launch could be inching closer after a tweet from O2 Germany proclaimed that they'd be releasing the device in May, and now more evidence of an impending Veer arrival has emerged. In a recent blog post on HP's Developer Blog, the company noted that, since applications built for the Pixi will be compatible with the Veer, devs should optimize their apps for the Pixi because they're planning a "big push" for the Veer's launch which is "just around the corner." Additionally, any of you that may be interested in webOS development should know that the SDK for version 2.1 of the OS is now available for all.
We're still missing a lot of details about the Veer, like which carrier it'll arrive on and how much it'll cost, but the fact that we're finally going to be getting all-new webOS hardware is enough to get a lot of folks excited. HP has said that the handset would be arriving sometime this spring, so we should be hearing more at CTIA or shortly thereafter. Based on what we know so far, are any of you considering picking up the pint-sized Pixi successor, or would you prefer something a tad larger, like the Pre 3?
