Looking for a new Android device, but need something that can stand up to your rugged lifestyle? Look no further than the handset up above, the Casio C771 G'zOne. Our friends over at Android Central were handed some photos of the tough little handset, along with some important details about the device: it'll be available on Verizon and will feature a 5 megapixel camera, 8GB microSD card, Android 2.2, and will be built to military specifications. Also on-board will be Casio G'zGear, a pack of tools for all of your outdoor activities.
There's no word on exactly the C771 will arrive, but it's good to see another ruggedized Android-powered phone coming to market. Usually the rugged phones that we see are just tough featurephones, although Motorola did release the Defy on T-Mobile last year. We should be hearing more about the C771 soon, including more specs and a launch date, so if you need a phone that can stand up to the kind of beating that Sydney gave the G'zOne Ravine, you'll want to stay tuned.
