NVIDIA Tegra 2-equipped devices gaining access to the PlayStation Suite

In the past, gaming was thought to be one of Android's weak points, especially compared to competitors like iOS. Things have been getting much better as of late, though, and today Android gaming got another shot in the arm. NVIDIA has announced via the Tegra Zone that Sony's PlayStation Suite will be made available to Tegra 2-powered devices later this year. There are also reports that PlayStation 2 games will eventually made available in the Suite.

This is great news for Android, and it makes devices like the Atrix 4G and DROID Bionic even more irresistible for the hardcore gamers among us. It's kind of a bummer that only Tegra-equipped products are getting access to the PS Suite, but I suppose Sony wants to make sure that the devices that access the Suite have enough horsepower to run the games found inside. So, does this news have any effect on your future device purchases?
