Remember those leaked T-Mobile webConnect plans that we told you about a few days ago? Yeah, those. I've got some news for those of you planning on adding the 10GB option when the plans go live on the 13th, aka this Sunday. Rather than costing $79.99 per month like we originally heard, T-Mo has inexplicably raised the price $5, meaning that you'll now be paying $84.99 per month for all that data, or $67.99 if you pair it with a qualifying voice plan.
On another other quick, Magenta-related note, anyone that is still holding onto a Sidekick and was granted a 50 percent discount on new Samsung hardware will now have an extra two weeks to pick up some cheap hardware. According to the leaked screenshot below, T-Mobile has extended the deal until April 19th.
It's kind of strange that T-Mo has decided to raise the price of their 10GB plan, especially since it's now pricier than similar offerings from other carriers like Verizon. Of course, with T-Mobile, you don't have to worry about overage charges and there's also that 20 percent discount if you also sign up for a voice plan, so T-Mo's plan is still a pretty good deal. Anyone planning on signing up for one of the new webConnect plans when they go live this weekend?
