While the 3G-enabled Motorola XOOM is already available from Verizon right now (and Best Buy), the hefty price tag has a few potential owners out there waiting for one particular model: the WiFi-only version. There hasn't been any official word on pricing from Motorola about the WiFi-only version, but a recent image from Sams Club suggests the price tag could see a ballpark figure around $539. And now sources are saying customers will have one more place to find the tablet: Staples.
Unconfirmed rumors suggest that Staples will be showcasing the Motorola XOOM tablet in their April 3rd advertisement. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like a price went along with this initial rumor. It's good to see that the XOOM will have more retail options for the WiFi-only version, and the cheaper price tag should help move plenty of new tablets. Are you anticipating the smaller price so you can get your hands on the XOOM, or are you waiting for another tablet?
