Last month, we heard that T-Mobile was planning to introduce a new kind of unlimited data plan, and now a couple more leaks have revealed even more new plans in T-Mo's future. First up, we have some new international calling plans that'll make you globetrotters jump for joy. On March 13th, Magenta is expected to unveil two new pre-paid international plans: a $60 option that includes unlimited talk and text and 100MB of data, and an $80 plan that features unlimited talk and text and 2GB of data. Both plans include unlimited calling to landlines in the U.S. and Mexico, unlimited texting to any phone in the U.S. or 220+ other countries, discounted calling to cell phones in the U.S. and 200+ countries and landlines in 150+ countries. For any customers that want to stick with their current calling plan but would like some international calling options, too, check out these $10 add-ons that we reported on last November.
The second new batch of plans concern mobile broadband. The folks at TmoNews have learned that Magenta will announce some new broadband offerings on March 13th, although there isn't much known about them beyond that. The good news, though, is that at least some of them will yield a 20 percent discount when they're paired with a qualifying voice plan.
All of T-Mo's leaked plans sound pretty great, especially with the possibility of earning a 20 percent discount simply for signing up for a broadband plan. Sadly, we've got to wait another nine days for all of these new plans to arrive. When they do finally come, though, you can bet we'll be checking them out. Will any of you be doing the same?
