Samsung's 4G LTE for Verizon may not have a proper name yet, but if a new rumor is true, it's going to need one pretty soon. According to the folks at Droid-Life, both Samsung's 4G phone and the HTC ThunderBolt are set to arrive on Verizon's shelves during the last week of February. Marketing materials for both devices are said to be arriving in stores now, making a launch next month even more likely.
We learned yesterday that Verizon has already begun training its employees on the ThunderBolt (and that it would support simultaneous voice and data in LTE areas), making the possibility of a late February launch fairly likely. What's surprising, though, is that Big Red is planning to push out Sammy's LTE handset at the same time. I certainly won't complain about getting more LTE phones, although I have to admit that I'm just about as interested to see what Samsung's device will be named than I am about the phone itself. Since both the ThunderBolt and Samsung's 4G LTE may very well be arriving at the same time, which one looks more appealing to you?
