Just a couple of weeks ago, we saw a device leak that looked like a successor to the diminutive XPERIA X10 Mini Pro get benchmarked left and right. Now that the XPERIA Arc has been made official, that mysterious handset has decided to make its presence known once again. This time the Mini Pro successor isn't turned on, but it does have its full QWERTY on display for all to see. There's still no word on when we'll actually see the device made official, but next month at MWC seems as good a time as any.
While this Mini Pro sequel may not have a gigantic screen like the Infuse or many other new Android phones, its island-style keys definitely look usable. Hopefully when this handset is announced, it'll come with Gingerbread in tow like the XPERIA Arc. After hearing the other day that the XPERIA X10 won't be updated to Froyo or beyond, it's more important than ever that Sony Ericsson get the latest software possible on their phones, lest they alienate more customers by saddling them with out-of-date OSes and no upgrade in sight.
