We're inching closer and closer to February and Mobile World Congress, where Sony Ericsson may finally unveil the PlayStation Phone/XPERIA Play. That doesn't mean that the PS Phone leaks will stop coming, though, with the biggest preview yet coming from Chinese site IT168. A full list of possible specs has emerged from the preview, which we'll cover below in handy bullet-point form, and the handset also got put through the usual benchmarking process. First up was a Quadrant test, which yielded a score of 1,733, followed by Neocore and a benchmark of 59.1fps, which is a heck of a lot better than the PS Phone's previous Neocore test. Also of note is the "PlayStation Pocket" app, which is assumed to be where you'll be doing all of your game launching. As promised, here's that rumored spec list:
While the PlayStation Phone's specs aren't the most mind-blowing we've ever seen, especially after all of the new devices revealed at CES, it still looks like a formidable handset. It'll be interesting to see what kind of games Sony Ericsson will have on offer for the device when it launches: will they emulate PS1 games, port over some PSP games, or give us a totally new selection of titles? I'm hoping for a mix of all three, but I'm a sucker for old school gaming, so I'd just love to get my Final Fantasy VII and Jet Moto on. So now that a full list of the PS Phone's possible specs are out, what do you all think?
