We're still waiting for the Palm Pre 2 to make its way to Verizon's network here in the U.S., but it looks like at least one person has already spent some hands-on time with the device. The device was spotted in an eBay listing yesterday, although the seller had it listed as a Palm Pre Plus with a bad ESN. After garnering two bids for $46 and with only two days left in the auction, though, the seller decided to pull the device and end the sale unexpectedly.
This mysterious eBay listing may not have gotten us any closer to knowing when the Verizon Pre 2 is actually going to land, but hey, at least we know that it still exists. We've seen leaked Verizon docs showing that the Pre 2 would arrive some time in the fourth quarter of 2010, but considering that there's only two weeks left in the year, I'm not so sure that that's going to happen. Sure, Big Red has been waiting to announce new phones until the day before they're released, but I've got a hard time believing that they're going to launch the Pre 2 this late in the year. Do you all think that we'll see the Verizon Pre 2 before the year is up or will we have to wait until some time in 2011 to get our CDMA webOS 2.0 fix?
