We know that Dell is having some problems shipping out the Venue Pro to eager customers, but it looks like there are a few of you out there that will be getting your Windows Phone 7 handset sooner than expected (although they're still a little late). One customer noticed that his 8GB Venue Pro finally shipped yesterday after placing the order back on December 2nd, and it should be arriving some time tomorrow. It looks like most of us will have to wait until January to get a Venue Pro of our very own, but if you got your order in early enough, you may be one of the lucky few to get a VP now.
Dell's first Windows Phone 7 device has been plagued with issues ever since it was first launched back in November, and it's pretty disappointing to see the Venue Pro stumble so much. The portrait QWERTY slider isn't a form factor you see much, so it'd be nice to see it succeed and convince developers to push out handsets with a similar design. UPDATE: Dell has come forward with more information about Venue Pro shipments: if you managed to get your order in by December 14th, your shiny new Windows Phone 7 handset should arrive before Christmas. So, how many of you got an order in before the 14th?
