Dell's been having some trouble launching the Venue Pro for T-Mobile, but that hasn't stopped them from getting the handset ready for a second carrier at the same time. The portrait QWERTY-fied Windows Phone 7 handset was just spotted hanging out at the FCC, getting certified for use with AT&T's 3G network. There's no indication of when, or if, the Venue Pro will actually arrive on AT&T, but at least we know that there's a model ready for Ma Bell's network.
Although AT&T was able to snag three different Windows Phone 7 handsets for their lineup, but some people have complained that none of them are must-have phones. The Venue Pro hasn't really been given the once over yet because of its limited availability, but if it made it onto AT&T's shelves, it could be their killer WP7 device. Plus, it'd be nice to have the Venue Pro at AT&T's brick and mortar stores so that customers could actually spend some hands-on time with it. Sure, Microsoft's stores are selling the VP, but not everyone can make it to one of their seven stores. How many of you would give an AT&T-compatible Venue Pro a shot?
