The FCC is the go-to source for information on new, unannounced handsets, and today our favorite government entity posted introduced us to another new phone. Meet the HTC PB92300, or its label, anyway, which just passed through the FCC with support for the 850 and 1900 GSM/EDGE bands. The mystery device is sporting both WiFi and Bluetooth, but most interestingly, it has both a camera on the rear and a front-facing cam. HTC has a confidentiality request that runs through May 15, 2011, although it's entirely possible that someone will leak the handset long before then.
Some have speculated that since this is an HTC-made device and that Windows Phone 7 isn't quite ready to take advantage of front cameras, this device is the successor to the HTC Aria. As you can see above, the label fits nicely into the label area on the existing Aria. When you consider that information, plus the fact that this is a GSM-compatible device, the idea that this is the Aria 2 seems pretty tough to ignore.
