Traditionally, just about any BlackBerry that's on T-Mobile will eventually be on AT&T, and vice versa (save for the Torch). The Bold 9780 recently launched on T-Mobile and, although there was no mention of an AT&T-branded 9780, we all suspected that such a device existed. Today those suspicions were confirmed, as both a video and an eBay listing for an AT&T Bold 9780 have popped up. The device looks pretty much the same as T-Mobile's 9780, save for that little "AT&T" logo, which packs a 2.4-inch HVGA display, 624MHz CPU, 5 megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, optical trackpad, and BlackBerry OS 6. You can check out a video of the 9780 in action below, and if you just can't wait to for AT&T to launch the device, you can try and snag one from eBay right here for a mere $899 (plus $20 for shipping).
Again, the fact that the Bold 9780 is coming to AT&T should surprise no one. No one is sure exactly when the 9780 will arrive on AT&T's shelves or how much it'll cost, but I can't imagine that the launch is too far away (the eBay listing claims that it won't launch until next year). As for price, don't be surprised to see "$199.99" tag next to the 9780 since that's currently where the 9700 sits. What will be interesting about the 9780's debut on AT&T is how it'll sell compared to the Bold. Both devices have a physical QWERTY and OS 6, it's just that one is a slider and the other looks (and hopefully tastes) more like a candy bar. Who do you think will win the popular vote?
