This morning, T-Mobile announced that they are expanding their HSPA+ to eight more markets across the US. Tallying up to 80+ locations nationwide, the latest additions are: Detroit, Michigan; Grand Junction, Colorado; Harlingen, Texas; Lafayette and South Bend, Indiana; Montgomery, Alabama; Roanoke-Lynchburg, Virginia; and Youngstown, Ohio. For now, this really only applies to anyone either carrying a myTouch 4G or a G2 as they're currently the only devices capable of using HSPA+.

T-Mobile has been very proactive with their roll-out of HSPA+ and it doesn't look like they plan on slowing down any time soon. They have plans to cover 200 million users with HSPA+ speeds and have set a rather high goal with their mobile speeds at 42Mbps, all for 2011. With speeds like that, I don't care if they call it 4G or not.
