Rumors of a dual-core Nexus S have been floating around recently, but today a different, but still exciting, dual-core handset leaked. What you're looking at is said to be Motorola's dual-core Tegra 2 handset, currently being referred to as "Olympus," which has been rumored to be heading to AT&T early next year. The source of the images didn't have much solid info about the handset except that it's one of two Tegra 2 Moto phones and that the Olympus will "hands down be the iPhone killer." Check out one more shot below.
At first glance, this device looks a lot like the DEFY, but upon closer inspection you can see that its speaker is slightly larger, it has redesigned volume controls, and what may be a a front-facing camera is sitting in the upper-left corner. We've heard previously that the Olympus will sport a 4-inch display, and the screen on the handset in the photos does look a bit larger than the 3.7-inch version on the DEFY. One more observation: the menu button resembles that of the ones found on the DROID X, DROID 2, etc., which makes me think that we may be seeing a Motorola skin on top of Gingerbread here. What do you all think? Is this indeed the Olympus or do you have an entirely different theory?
