The MOTOPAD sprung into our lives just a couple of days ago with news that the 7-inch tablet would be the first device to run Android 3.0, and today it's back to bring more information and tablet goodness. According to Digitimes, the Motorola will be launching Tegra 2-powered Android tablets with Honeycomb in February or March of next year. The name "MOTOPAD" isn't specifically mentioned, but if the previous info is legit, then it appears that the MOTOPAD will indeed be launching in a few short months. Additionally, LG is said to be launching their Optimus Pad around the same time frame.
Many Android tablets are planned for release in "early 2011," so it's not surprising to learn that the MOTOPAD may be arriving as early as February. What's awesome about the news, besides that we'll be getting a couple of new tablets to play with, is that we could be seeing two new iterations of Android only months apart. Gingerbread is supposed to be arriving in the next couple of weeks, and now it looks like Honeycomb is coming just a few short months after. It's an exciting time to be an Android fan!
