We haven't seen much of the BlackBerry PlayBook in action, but a new video posted today by RIM is sure to satiate your PlayBook thirst. During the the three minute browse-a-thon, you'll see the PlayBook go head-to-head against an iPad in page rendering, Flash compatibility, and an Acid3 test. The PlayBook comes out on top in just about every comparison, which is unsurprising since this is a video from RIM, and in one instance it even finishes loading up a page before the iPad renders any portion of it. You can check out the full demo below.
While I wouldn't say that this is a be-all, end-all comparison between the PlayBook and the iPad, it'd definitely nice to see RIM's tablet in use for a few minutes. Both the keyboard and browsing experience on the PlayBook look really nice, and we're still at least a couple of months away from seeing the device land on store shelves, so things could be even better when launch time finally rolls around. So now that we've all gotten a good look at the PlayBook's Web browser and Flash capabilities, are any of you sold on RIM's tablet?
