Samsung had the Nexus S leak repeatedly last week, and now another one of their handsets has been outed by famed mobile blogger Eldar Murtazin. The Samsung i9100, also referred to as the Galaxy 2, was leaked by Murtazin and is said to be "technically advanced" thanks to its dual-core processor. Along with the speedy chip, the Galaxy 2 is described as having a nicer display than what's present on the Galaxy S, a plastic casing, and a launch window of Q1 2011. Murtazin also mentioned the the Sony Ericsson Anzo, which is likely the Anzu we saw photos of last week, saying that it was "nice," but that it isn't as nice as the Desire HD, and that it will launch in March next year.
No one is quite sure what the Galaxy 2/i9100 is, but one thought is that it's a TouchWiz version of the Nexus S that may or may not be sporting Samsung's shiny new Orion processor. There aren't any Orion-powered phones available just yet, but Samsung has said that "select customers" will have first access, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see it pop up in their devices first. It's unfortunate that the Anzu may not end up being the huge, flagship phone that many of us were expecting, especially when you consider how thin and attractive it looked in the leaked photos. At least we still have the PlayStation Phone to look forward to, right?
