While the Nexus Two may not be showing up at Samsung's event on Monday, November 8th, we all figured that it would make its debut along with Gingerbread in the near future. Now it looks like we'll be waiting longer than we previously thought for the N2 thanks to a problem with the hardware. During testing, a "serious hardware issue" was discovered and caused the Nexus Two to be delayed until the problem is resolved. There's no word on how big the issue is or how long it'll take to fix, but at least we can take comfort in the fact that the phone, and Gingerbread, is being described as "a beauty."
Considering that the Nexus Two was rumored to be arriving as early as November 11th (the same date that Gingerbread is said to be debuting), this news is a bummer. Normally I'd say that the delay is probably only going to set the phone back a couple of weeks, but if the hardware issue is being referred to as "serious," then we may be waiting a bit longer.
