No one is quite sure whether T-Mobile's new myTouch will launch as the myTouch HD, myTouch 4G, or plain ol' myTouch, but one thing we do know is the release date. Thanks to an image of an internal T-Mobile message leaked to our friends at TmoNews, we now know that the myTouch will be launching on November 3rd, just like we heard back at the beginning of September. There's still no word on pricing, but if I were a betting man I'd put my money on a $199.99 price tag.
Since the myTouch will be T-Mobile's second HSPA+ device, following the G2, it'll be interesting to see how the two handsets compare in terms of sales. The G2 has a mostly-vanilla version of Android 2.2 and a physical QWERTY keyboard going for it, while the myTouch offers (slightly) larger screen and HTC's Genius Button. If I had to choose, I would probably go with the G2 just because I'm a fan of stock Android, but the skin that HTC has used on the myTouch is one of the better-looking Android overlays available. We've only got about a week left before the myTouch HD/4G/PhD arrives, so which would you choose: the G2 or the myTouch?
