After a week of working with T-Mobile's new G2 (made by HTC), we knew it had a new home as the best smartphone on T-Mobile.
It has a few issues, namely a loose hinge when held upside down and a quirk that restricts some of the 4 GB of internal storage. But at the end of the day, it beats the Vibrant by offering a stock Android 2.2 experience, a physical QWERTY keyboard, functional GPS, and access to T-Mobile's speedy HSPA+ network.
Now that we've officially bumped it to number one, we're interested to hear what you think! Are we on the money? Crazy? All of the above? Let us have it in the comments!

2. Samsung VibrantPros
Cons
Summary With a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, Android 2.1, and a 5.0-megapixel camera, the Samsung Vibrant is a great smartphone choice on T-Mobile. That being said, the device is experiencing some GPS issues, and the camera is missing a flash. |

3. BlackBerry Bold 9700Pros
Cons
Summary The BlackBerry Bold 9700, available in white and black, is a fantastic device for those that e-mail, text message, IM, or do anything else that would benefit from a full QWERTY keyboard. That being said, BlackBerry OS is outdated in comparison to its competitors, and the 3.2-megapixel camera pales in comparison to the 5+ megapixel alternatives on the market. |
