We've already seen a slightly redesigned LG Optimus One headed for Verizon under the name Vortex, and now it looks like the device may be headed to T-Mobile, too. The good folks at TmoNews have received the photo you see above, a flier showing off the LG Optimus for T-Mobile, which is apparently going to be a "with Google" device. The most notable addition is the ability to make calls over WiFi, a feature which Android has been severely lacking. It's kind of tough to tell with the dark image above, but it also looks like T-Mobile won't be messing with the look of the Optimus One like Verizon did with the Vortex, opting instead to keep things as LG intended. There's no word on pricing or availability just yet, so stay tuned for more!
As with almost all of these leaks that we see, keep in mind that this information should be taken with a few grains of salt. Still, I don't see why T-Mobile wouldn't want to release the Optimus, and this definitely isn't the first time we've seen a mention of an Optimus for T-Mo. Given all of the evidence, I'd say the Optimus looks pretty legit. Would any of you consider picking up the Optimus on T-Mo, especially considering the possibility of WiFi calling?
