We've heard a couple of times in the past that Microsoft will be unveiling Windows Phone 7 next month, but now that news has been confirmed thanks to an HTC employee.  Speaking with gulfnews, HTC's regional director for North Africa and the Middle East let the cat out of the bag and said that HTC is "launching Windows Phone 7 handsets next month."  Not stopping there, the HTC director said that the company will be releasing "around five more models" by the end of 2010, although it's not clear what OS(es) those devices will be running.

There have already been some HTC Windows Phone 7 handset leaks and, while it's not clear if they'll both launch alongside WP7 or some time shortly after, I think it's a safe bet to say that they'll be two of the devices released this year.  There's also the Desire Z and Desire HD to look forward to, both of which will be landing in October.  Any ideas on what HTC's other handsets will be, readers?
