A few days ago we saw that Verizon would be launching the new BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 in two colors: charcoal gray and fuchsia. Unfortunately, we didn't get any kind of release information for the 9330 out of that leak. Thanks to a different leak today, though, we do finally know when the newest member of the Curve family will be on Verizon. According to a leaked document provided to Boy Genius Report, the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 will launch on Verizon Wireless on September 16th. That means you 'Berry fanatics only have nine more days before the newest device from RIM is unleashed on Big Red. Get excited!
Some people have questioned the 9330's existence, saying that Verizon customers should either get a Bold 9650 or DROID instead of a Curve. What those people fail to recognize, however, is that the Curve series is extremely popular with smartphone newcomers, BlackBerry-addicted teens, and business looking to give their employees a shiny new smartphone that won't break the bank. It may not have a super high-res screen or HD video capture, but it does have a solid QWERTY keyboard, 10,000 apps to choose from, access to BlackBerry Messenger, and RIM's email support, and really, that's all that the Curve 3G 9330 will need to succeed.
