Motorola's DROID was a pretty big hit when it launched on Verizon last year, and now the DROID 2 seems to be even popular with customers. After its launch almost a month ago, the DROID 2 now has the lowest return rate of any smartphone on Verizon, an employee has told Boy Genius Report. Not only are owners very happy with the DROID 2, the device is also said to have one of the lowest dropped call rates on Verizon. I guess those signal fluctuation problems that have been plaguing the D2 aren't enough to deter customers from enjoying their new handset, huh?
Even with the flurry of high-end Android handsets hitting Verizon in the past few months, I'm not surprised to learn that the DROID 2 has the lowest return rate of any smartphone on Big Red. After all, the original DROID is one of the hottest selling Android phones ever and, since the DROID 2 improves on its predecessor in just about every way, customers that upgraded from the first DROID would likely be very satisfied with their new D2. Some of us hardcore Android purists may not care for the DROID 2 because of Moto's skin, but chances are good that a lot of customers don't mind. So now we pose the question to you, DROID 2 owners: how satisfied are you with your shiny new DROID?
