We've certainly seen quite a bit of LG's C900/Pacific running Windows Phone 7 recently, and now we've got another piece of news to add to the list. After poring over the device's Bluetooth SIG filing, the folks over at Phone Arena have learned that the C900 will launch on AT&T around September 28th. The listing for the C900 is your typical, not-terribly-exciting fare except when it comes to this bit of evidence: "This model will be available on Market around 2010-09-28."
Sure, the fact that the word "around" is thrown in there makes the date a little less concrete than we would like, but having this date is better than having nothing at all. We already know that AT&T is planning to be one of the premier carriers for Windows Phone 7, as evidenced by the amount of leaked devices heading their way and the rumor that they ordered eight million WP7 handsets. Given all of the information we have, it wouldn't be surprising to see AT&T be the first carrier out of the gate with a WP7 phone, meaning a September 28th-ish launch is looking more and more likely by the day. What has two thumbs and is getting excited to see Windows Phone 7 and new hardware enter the market? This guy!
