Along with the release of the Dell Streak, the company has also gone ahead and announced its new mobile application store. The Dell Mobile Applications Store is operated and maintained by PocketGear and has apps available for Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, webOS, and Windows Mobile. If you're interested in buying an app from Dell's store, they're accepting payment by either PayPal or traditional credit card. You can check out Dell's offerings right here.
It seems that nearly every manufacturer and OS has its own app store lately, and now that Dell is getting serious about smartphones, it has entered the fray with its own store. It's great to see that Dell is offering both paid and free apps, giving users a chance to try out the store and see if they prefer it over other offerings. Are any of you going to try out the Dell Mobile Application Applications Store?
