I feel like I'm saying this every other day, but we've got another Motorola DROID 2 leak for you. This time, we've got a photo sent in to Engadget showing that dummy models of the D2 have arrived at a Best Buy Mobile store. The photo shows one model with its keyboard exposed, while the other it closed up in portrait mode. The pictures don't show off anything that we haven't already seen, but it does mean we're inching closer to the DROID 2's release. August 12th has been kicked around as the launch date, and today Boy Genius Report heard from a Verizon source that that is indeed the day. We'll find out in one short week
Considering that it seems like we've seen a leak of the DROID 2 almost daily, I have to agree with Engadget and say that I'm getting tired of the device leaking and not actually getting released. Thankfully, the fact that dummy models are arriving signals that we should be seeing a release fairly soon..I just wonder what we're going to talk about when the DROID 2 finally launches and we won't have these leaks to discuss every day.
