There's definitely a reason people are excited about Froyo.  From the JIT compiler, which speeds up the phone and apps as a whole, to automatic updates for apps and tethering, there's no shortage of features to fall in love with.  There is one feature, which I think is especially cool, that sometimes tends to go unnoticed - Chrome to Phone.  Chrome to Phone is both an application for your Android 2.2 device (read: Nexus One or DROID with cooked ROM) as well as an extension for Google's Chrome web browser (and apparently Firefox too). 

The concept is rather simple.  When you're viewing a webpage on your computer and need to push it to your phone, it's as simple as the click of a button.  It's probably most useful when you're on the run and need to continue what you're doing from your mobile device (hint: this would be great for future Android tablets too).  In any event the setup is rather simple but a little unconventional.  Instead of searching for the extension on the normal Chrome extensions site, follow this link, and install the extension which will help you to set up the app on your device as well.  What are you waiting for?  If you have an N1, or any phone with a Froyo ROM, head over to the site, download, and report back!
