There are 16 days until the first official Samsung Galaxy S device, the Vibrant, is released for sale in the US (via T-Mobile). And as the story seems to go of late, it looks like it will be launched out of date. Today, the image and specs of what's being called the Samsung Galaxy S2, model number i9200, have surfaced and started circulation around the web. The device is expected to be launched in the beginning of 2011 and will be sporting a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED-2 display, 2GHz processor, 1GB RAM/4GB ROM, 32GB built-in flash memory expandable to 64GB via microSD slot, 8MP camera, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and is expected to be running Android 3.0. It pretty much makes you want to wait the six or so months until the thing comes out, but then if you did that, you'd want to wait for the next one too. Ah, the ups and downs of rapidly advancing technology. Any takers?
