We haven't heard much in the way of Windows Phone 7 lately. In fact, the most recent piece of news associated with Microsoft and mobile technology was the death of the KIN and the integration of the KIN team with the Windows Phone 7 team. Today, the folks over at Engadget acquired some AT&T materials that could suggest an early debut of a few WP7 devices on the carrier.
The page you see above is a listing of retail signs to be displayed as of July 24th, and you'll noticed that the sign on the bottom right is for Windows Phone 7. According to Engadget, however, don't get your hopes up, it's entirely plausible that this July sheet could be for a September launch (it's happened in the past). Additionaly, the wording "QTY: 6" beneath "Windows Phone 7" is probably referring to two devices.
As of now WP7 is scheduled for release this coming holiday season, though I doubt anyone would mind too much if Microsoft got a little excited and launched a WP7 phone early. But on that note, I'd like to say - Microsoft, if you have to choose between launching early and launching a polished product. For the love of Pete, wait it out!
