With the HTC EVO 4G launch and the DROID X right around the corner, the DROID Incredible has to feel a bit left out. Launched to great fanfare in late April, it was quickly pushed to the side by the litany of summer Android announcements and Verizon's inability to keep the device in stock. Despite that, an AndroidForums user has been working with a test Incredible, and noticed a firmware update that enabled 720p video recording and 3G Mobile Hotspot. This is one of those times where the skeptic in me would say "pictures or it didn't happen," but the user was kind enough to send along images for proof.
Should the Incredible pick up the software update, it would give it two new features that the EVO 4G and DROID X offer out of the box. Enough to keep you attached to the Incredible, or are you still eyeing the 4.3-inch wonder that is the DROID X?
