As is the case with all Android phones, the EVO 4G has been rooted, this time before the device was even released to consumers. When customers get their hands on the device tomorrow, they'll now have a complete tutorial to rooting the EVO and installing just about anything they could want on the device. Some users at the XDA-developers forum have posted everything you need to complete the root, then Android Central took it further and posted a step-by-step tutorial. Now you can have all of the necessary files and instructions you need to root your EVO right after you take it out of the box. The device has already received a Froyo ROM and several other tweaks, and we're sure that all of the hype surrounding the EVO will ensure that the community will be creating ROMs and other tools for a long time to come.
