We've seen some leaks of this device before, but today Motorola made the Flipout official. Definitely the squarest Android phone yet, the Flipout is running Android 2.1 beneath Motoblur, along with some enhancements to the skin. The new version allows users to resize widgets, apply filters in the Happenings and Messages widgets, and gain access to corporate email. The Flipout has a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, full QWERTY keyboard, 3 megapixel camera, 512 MB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, and 7.2 Mbps HSPA+. The device will be available in Europe this quarter and, while there doesn't seem to be any concrete release plans for America, I'm sure that we'll see it at some point. Below are a few videos to help introduce you to Flipout, showing off the device and the new version of Motoblur. Are any of you excited about the Flipout? Tell us in the comments!
