RIM is reportedly planning another attack on the touchscreen market later this year with the release of the Blackberry Storm 3. The device, according to a tipster speaking with Tested, will be released either in Q3 or Q4 of this year and will feature a revised version of the SurePress technology that RIM believes is a "perfect" utilization of the software. The tipster went on to say that the phone will ship with Blackberry OS 6.0, which comes as no surprise with the imminent release of the OS, and that the device will focus heavily on multimedia and gaming. There are reports that RIM is working closely with EA to have a version of the popular game The Sims pre-installed on new Storm 3 devices.
Finally, Tested's tipster said that RIM is already hard at work developing the Storm 4, which they plan to release sometime in 2011. The Storm 4 will include many upgraded internals such as a new accelerometer, magnetometer, and GPS, as well as a 5 megapixel camera.
