We saw it at Mobile World Congress, but HTC was on hand to show us the Desire at CTIA earlier this week. Resembling (what I would imagine to be) a successor to the Hero/Droid Eris, the unit offers notable improvements over its (assumed) predecessor like aluminum unibody construction, Android 2.1 with Sense UI, a 600 MHz processor, 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, and an optical navigation pad.
No word on a US launch date, pricing, or future carrier support. Let's hope it's sooner rather than later! Check out the pictures below.
